Q: How do I go about requesting an investigation?
A: Simply email P.O.I.N.T. at contact@pointparanormal.com
Be sure to include your name, the best time to contact you, and a phone number. If you prefer to talk via email, that is fine as well.
Q: What should I expect after contacting P.O.I.N.T.?
A: Within 24 hours of emailing P.O.I.N.T., someone will contact you and set up a phone interview. Our Client Care representative will then call you at your earliest convenience and you will be asked a series of questions. It is important to let P.O.I.N.T. know all the events in your home or business that you believe might be paranormal in nature. At that point, if you would like us to investigate, we will set up a date to come to your home.
Q: What should I expect when P.O.I.N.T. comes to my home to investigate?
A: P.O.I.N.T. Paranormal is a scientifically based research team. We are looking for concrete evidence of the paranormal. In order to achieve this, we will come to your home with our computer monitoring system. Several stationary cameras will be placed in the most active areas of your home in the hopes of catching some video evidence of the paranormal. Photographs will also be taken throughout the night in hopes of catching evidence.
In addition to video, we will attempt to collect audio evidence with our digital recorders during EVP sessions. EVP stands for Electronic Voice Phenomena. These are spirit voices caught on audio that were not detected by the human ear during the session.
P.O.I.N.T. exhausts every effort to find a logical explanation to define what is going on in your home before entertaining the notion that it has paranormal activity.
Q: How long will the investigation last?
A: Of course P.O.I.N.T. will work around the client's wishes in this area, but generally speaking we like to be at location between three and four hours. We respectfully ask that the client let us stay a bit longer if the location is particularly active.
Q: After the investigation, what should I expect?
A: P.O.I.N.T. Paranormal is committed to finding answers for our clients. We don't just investigate, collect evidence, then post it in a public forum for attention, never to be heard from again. We make ourselves available to our clients, day or night, for support and guidance.
A typical investigation requires two weeks of evidence analysis following the case. This gives the participating team members time to review the evidence and the team time to discuss the findings before presenting them to our clients.
We will then meet with the client. Each client will receive a written report of our findings. In addition to our evidence, we will present research information that pertains to the case.
